A poem I wrote to God in December 2008 (aged 23) which fit me well tonight...
my wishes upon his face
I met weaping in the searing heat
eyes ablaze, into his reflection I gazed
burn me alive I hoped you would
blacken the depths futher than I ever could
but rain you did softly onto my soul
falling like forgiveness from so close yet so far
treasure these memories you had me speak
and into these fears must I linger for relief
